Inex Standards
Professionally Certified
Outdoor Maintenance
The ‘Inex Standards’ we uphold are built on a bedrock of professional accreditation and ensuring all processes and policies are in line with industry best practices.
In addition to certification in health and safety management, Inex holds both ISO 14001 for Environmental Management and ISO 9001 for our Quality Management system — underpinning our dedication to environmental responsibility and consistency of process. All ISO accreditations are externally and internally monitored for continual improvement.
These exacting industry standards underpin all company activities, including legal responsibilities, scope, interested parties, leadership and commitment, policies/processes, communications, customer satisfaction, document control, employee consultation, planning, aims/objectives, competence and training, awareness and emergency response.
Commitment to
Health & Safety
Health and safety is of the utmost importance to our everyday operations.
Inex holds SSIP SafeContractor certification and was one of the first companies in Scotland to attain the ISO 45001 standard for Occupational Health & Safety Management.

Investing in Our Team,
Supporting Our Future
Our growth and development as a business has been driven by the expertise and effort of our people — and we’ve strengthened our team considerably over the years, as our range of specialist grounds maintenance services has expanded.
Inex ensure that all operatives have up-to-date training and accreditation in all aspects of their work — from fundamental grounds maintenance to more specialised areas like tree surgery and site clearance.
We also ensure that our wider team has the support and training opportunities they need to progress and develop new skills and competencies.
We encourage and promote opportunities for all Inex staff to develop themselves and progress along their career path — whether through internal training modules, coaching/mentoring programmes, academic courses or professional industry certifications.

Inex offers modern apprenticeships via our certified training partners, and we also work with local high schools to promote employment opportunities and offer career guidance.
We partner with First Steps Future Training in Glasgow and utilise Skills Development Scotland’s ‘Fair Start Scotland’ employment support programme.

We are proud to work with a variety of employment organisations, such as Routes to Work, Remploy and Triage Central, and Inex is a Disability Confident employer.

We benefit from a diverse workforce across our company — our staff come from a variety of locations, backgrounds and areas of knowledge and expertise.
Inex’s directors group has a 50/50 split, male/female.

All Inex staff are employed on a permanent basis. We do not operate zero-hour contracts at any time.

All Inex employees are IOSH health and safety trained, with managers completing IOSH Managing Safely and operatives completing IOSH Working Safely training certifications.
Inex also holds North Lanarkshire’s Employer Charter Bronze for fair working practices, enhancing local supply chain and community benefit.
